BlackRock Case Study

Princeton, NJ - After purchasing a large business unit from Merrill Lynch, BlackRock needed to inventory printers, faxes and other peripherals in their mammoth Princeton NJ location. In addition, there were 13 other offices around that country that needed to be documented.

PcDisconnect had a crew of 4 trained computer technicians blanket the Princeton NJ office, and in just two days we had documented and catalogued over 1000 units.  At the same time, we had dispatched PcDisconnect representatives to states from Connecticut to California to capture and document the branch office components.

BlackRock had requested that we document device location, serial number, model number, IP address, and what kind of printing supplies each unit needed. Once we had all the information together, we compiled a single spreadsheet and presented it to the happy BlackRock I.T managers.
